High Cycling Roller Gates

This is our high temperature slidegate valve designed to operate handling materials at temperatures of 1900F/1040C and beyond.  This valve is your only choice when it comes to the need for a reliable and safe material shut off when material temperatures are above 1000F/540C.  Customers have chosen this valve for process critical applications on roasters, smelters, furnaces, and boilers.

Operating Parameters:

  • Can be designed to operate up to 1900F/1040C
  • Maximum pressure capability of 5 PSI/.35 Bar

  • All design undergo rigorous finite element analysis to ensure the design intent does not compromise the performance of the valve
  • The sloped lower bonnet area prevents material from building up inside the valve’s bonnet
  • Support rollers are adjustable to allow for maximum flexibility to set up the valve to provide the best possible seal, even at these extreme temperatures
  • Gate support pins allow the gate to slide in the body without the possibility of material buildup jamming the actuation
  • In-line removable and replaceable rollers and/or pins, actuation, sliding blade (gate) and packing glands, quick and easy maintenance without pulling it out of line
  • Cylinder design offers capability of adding open / closed indicator switches
  • Variety of actuation available including pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, screw jack and hand-wheel
  • Multitude of available accessories including indicator switches, guards, control packages, and filter regulators
